Brief Description

A house of 1831-7 built incorporating an older house set in extensive woodland and a few parkland trees. Features include a rockery in a Pleasure Ground with shrubs and exotics, a decoy pond, a walled garden with a large garden house and a deer park.

History

16th-century tower house on riverbank survives. Mount Hall rebuilt 1831-7 as present house.
