History
The Mill House garden was created in the late-20th century.
Detailed Description
The Mill House is north-west of Bassingbourn on the road to Shingay. During the last twenty years (2000) the owners have designed a garden of about 0.4 hectares around the house, incorporating an existing orchard in the open flat countryside. A wall encloses a secret garden containing a box hedged rectangular pool. A pergola from the north of the house supports an abundance of climbing roses and clematis. The garden is filled with many fascinating plants which grow well on this exposed site.- Features
